Tips for Tanning Fair Skin

Some fair skin beauties want their skin to be darker than their skin tone is naturally. I always recommend taking tanning slowly and carefully. The sun and tanning booths are extremely damaging for anyone. I believe the skin can only get so dark before you start to look orange and unnatural. Personally, I do not know anyone with naturally orange skin tone.

This may seem to go against tanning but I feel is extremely important. Please everyone use a sunscreen because it can prevent skin cancer. It can also prevent premature wrinkles and aging. Also, fair skin can burn extremely easily without sunscreen. Without being careful, you could end up with sun poisoning and bad sunburn. Wearing SPF 30 or higher daily can help prevent the negatives of the sun. Also remember to reapply throughout the day. It is recommended to reapply sunscreen every two hours. If you happened to get sunburn, I recommend stopping tanning and do it another day. Sunburn can be painful and your skin may be more sensitive.

I recommend not using tanning booths because they are just are not great for the skin. When you use the tanning booth, you are increasing your chances of developing skin cancer. I do not think anyone wants to get any sort of cancer. Also, I believe it can be extremely addictive to go to the tanning booth and expensive. Instead use a spray tan or tanning lotion are better alternatives. They will help make you tanner without serious harm to yourself. If you are afraid of turning orange some self tanners gradually build a tan. This way, you can stop when the amount of color is desired.

Using a bronzer on your face in certain parts will help mimic the places your skin naturally tans. It will help you look tanner without committing to a fake tanner. If you happened to not enjoy the look, you can always remove the product. Remember, the bronzer should not be too dark because people are not two-toned. At least, I do not know anyone. The perfect bronzer shade will be two to three shades darker than your skin tone. The product does not need to be labeled as a bronzer. A darker foundation, concealer, eye shadow or a pressed colored powder will work well for a bronzer.

Remember, you do not need to tan to be beautiful. I believe it is your own personal choice to enjoy your naturally fair skin or to build a tan. Also, you do not need to tan all year long. There are really no rules when it comes to tanning so feel confident whoever you are.
